U.S. duties will affect Kazakhstan’s exports worth about $100 million

U.S. duties will affect Kazakhstan’s exports worth about $100 million, said Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Ministry of Economy Serik Zhumangarin.

“The duties will affect only 4.8 per cent of Kazakhstan’s exports – somewhere in the order of $100 million … Of the almost two billion turnover, most of it is currently in exemptions. Raw materials are there, oil, uranium, silver,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, American President Donald Trump spoke out about the countries against which the United States imposed duties.
