The European Union intends to transfer €2.1bn in profits from frozen Russian assets to Kiev by the end of April.
The head of European diplomacy Kaja Kallas shared such plans at a press conference following the EU-Ukraine Association Council meeting in Brussels.
“We intend to gradually provide Ukraine with the second tranche of €2.1bn by the end of this month,” TASS quoted her as saying.
Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that Kiev had received another €1bn in proceeds from Russia’s assets from the EU.
