The Bundeswehr plans to create a satellite constellation in space by 2029.
This was reported by the Handelsblatt newspaper.
It is noted that Germany currently uses eight to ten satellites and relies on the systems of allies, primarily the United States.
According to experts, the cost of one constellation of satellites can reach € 10 billion.
Earlier, the head of the Space Command of the US Armed Forces, General Stephen Whiting, stated the need to place American weapons in space.
