Trump: Europe must commit to buying energy from the US

The European Union will have to commit to buying energy resources from the US. This was announced by US leader Donald Trump at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.

He noted that the US trade deficit with the European Union is $350bn, which Trump said would quickly disappear as Europe would have to commit to buying a similar amount of energy from the United States.

‘They will have to buy energy resources from us because they need them,’ TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, the US President said that the EU was behaving very badly on trade issues.

He also reported that the United States will have favourable deals with other countries or have nothing in common.
