A rift between the US and the European Union over Russia’s partial connection to SWIFT could derail Ukraine talks.

The publication notes that Europe has questions about whether to allow a major Russian bank limited access to the SWIFT payment system in connection with the ceasefire in the Black Sea.
According to the newspaper, such a relaxation would allow Moscow to simplify the procedure for exporting agricultural products.
It is assumed that US President Donald Trump will be forced to engage with the EU in order to eliminate contradictions, as well as to put an end to the Ukrainian conflict.
Grigory Karasin, a member of the Russian delegation, said earlier that the connection of Rosselkhozbank to SWIFT was discussed at the talks with the USA in Riyadh.
