US President Donald Trump said that his administration has approved the country’s defence budget of about $1 trillion.
According to the American leader, this budget will be the largest the United States has ever passed for the military.
‘We’re saving a lot of money, but we need to build an army. And we need to be strong because there are a lot of bad forces around right now,’ Bloomberg quoted Trump as saying.
At the same time, the Associated Press agency wrote, citing diplomats, that NATO sees no sense in increasing defence spending after the US words about Russia.
