AP: DOGE plans to lay off thousands of employees in U.S. nuclear power industry

Businessman Ilon Musk’s US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) intends to lay off thousands of ‘unnecessary’ employees at the US Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration.
