According to Reuters, the explosions in Germany, Poland and the UK in August 2024 could have been caused by parcels containing cosmetics and intimate goods.
Poland said there were “signs of external interference”, hinting at a Russian trail. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov called it “demonisation of Russia”.
Europol is co-ordinating the investigation and a meeting of the EU interior ministry is expected.
