Stubb said the discussion about sending the military to Ukraine has veered off course

The discussion on sending military personnel to Ukraine has veered off course, Finnish President Alexander Stubb has said.

“This topic has turned into a symbolic discussion that has completely deviated from the course … Ground troops are not on our agenda now,” TASS quoted him as saying.

According to the Finnish leader, peace should be achieved before discussing sending Western military to Ukraine.

Stubb earlier expressed the opinion that France or Britain should start a dialogue with Putin.

Meanwhile, Macron suggested deploying peacekeepers in strategic locations in Ukraine.
