Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga has said that the Ukrainian and US sides have started consultations on a new version of the bilateral agreement on minerals.
‘I confirm to you that the Foreign Ministry received a new text of the so-called agreement on mineral resources from the US side through diplomatic channels on 28 March,’ RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Sibiga also specified that Ukraine was ready to sign the previously agreed framework agreement, but now the government has started studying the updated version.
It is noted that one round of consultations on the agreement has already taken place.
At the same time, the terms of completion of procedures and their full list are not disclosed.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Ukraine would ask for more investments under the deal with the USA.
