Switzerland has lifted sanctions on three properties frozen under sanctions against Russia between 13 August 2024 and 31 March 2025.
About it writes RIA Novosti with reference to the Swiss State Secretariat for the economy.
‘As of 31 March 2025, assets frozen in Switzerland amounted to 7.4 billion francs (about $8.38 billion – RT), to which were added 14 real estate properties of individuals or legal entities subject to sanctions,’ the statement reads.
At the same time, in August 2024, it was known about frozen assets worth 7.1 billion Swiss francs, as well as 17 real estate properties.
Earlier, the Swiss authorities cancelled sanctions against the sister of Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov Gulbahor Ismailova.
