Summits and meetings aimed at finding a way to resolve the Ukrainian conflict do not bring results, Slovak President Peter Pellegrini said.
‘We agreed that it is necessary to look for a way for us to come to a lasting peace [in Ukraine – ed.] that will guarantee the security of both Slovakia and Poland, so that it is not a short-term solution, but a long-term one. Different initiatives that take place on the margins of the European Union, different summits and meetings do not bring concrete results and a concrete plan,’ Peter Pellegrini said during a press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda.
The Slovak president noted that none of the European countries had offered a concrete plan to settle the conflict in Ukraine.
We shall remind you that earlier Aleksandar Vucic and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico agreed that they would visit Russian Federation together on the day of celebrating the anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War.
