The United States may agree to most of Russia’s conditions for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, US analyst Scott Ritter has said.
‘This is bad news for Europe and bad news for Ukraine: the US is going to agree to most if not all of Russia’s conditions,’ RIA Novosti quoted Ritter as saying.
The analyst explained that such moves are due to the real state of forces on the battlefield.
He also emphasised that the last word on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict rests with the US government, which has forced Kiev and Brussels to ‘play the game’.
Earlier, Ritter doubted the USA’s ability to outplay Russia.
