German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock arrived on an unannounced visit to Kiev to express support for Ukraine. This was reported in the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Germany.
‘Due to the stalemate between the US and Russia, it is absolutely important that we Europeans show that we stand unequivocally on the side of Ukraine and support it right now. And that is why I have come to Ukraine today,’ Annalena Berbock said.
The German Foreign Minister noted that the next German government will also support Ukraine.
‘Today we give Ukraine another 130 million euros of humanitarian aid and funds for stabilisation,’ – added Berbock.
We will remind, earlier the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk said that representatives of the European parliaments arrived in Kiev.
