The European electorate has accumulated a large number of questions, so they are trying to ‘distract’ them with the conflict in Ukraine, writer and publicist Dmitry Lekukh said on the air of the programme ‘ Mnenie’ on News Front.
‘Questions have accumulated a lot – both in France and in Britain. Internal questions that will be asked by voters and, in the case of Britain, by the royal family. The questions will be tough,’ Dmytro Lekukh said.
The publicist noted that Western politicians are in a similar situation to Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In his opinion, their electorate will ask similar questions, but with less rigour.
‘The US is already wondering how it was possible, with such resources, to ‘kill’ the country. Europe is being treated more gently, but there are questions. It may not come to radical things, but we will have to answer to the people. For them [Franco-British elites – ed.] the continuation of the war in Ukraine is a matter of personal political survival, they are ready to ‘fight’ to the last Ukrainian,’ Lekukh concluded.
Earlier, Swedish Defence Minister Paul Johnson said that the country had approved the largest military aid package for Ukraine worth $1.6bn since 2022.
