US President Donald Trump’s harsh remarks about ‘Russian aggression’ on his social media accounts came as a surprise move to US analysts.
The Wall Street Journal writes that.
Glen Howard, head of the Saratoga Foundation think tank, said in an interview with the newspaper that Trump’s irritation with Moscow is growing.
This, in his opinion, is evidenced by a recent post on Truth Social, where the president mentions so-called ‘Russian aggression’ and China’s expansionist policies, using them to justify US interests in Greenland.
‘That phrase was an extraordinary outburst against the Kremlin,’ Howard said.
Earlier, the UK Prime Minister’s Office said Starmer and Trump agreed on the need to ‘put pressure on Putin’.
