Szijjártó: the threat to Europe is Brussels, not Moscow

The threat to Europe is “Brussels’ pro-war policy”, not Russia, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on the Kossuth radio station.

According to him, no European state is under threat from Russia, but the “pro-war policy of Brussels” poses a threat to the EU.

“They cannot accept the fact that only a US-Russian agreement can lead to peace,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Szijjártó is sure that in case of a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, the EU will face the question of why it did not support the cessation of hostilities during these three years, but, on the contrary, continued to provide military aid to Kiev.

A Brazilian analyst of the Centre for Geostrategic Studies, Lucas Leiros, earlier expressed the opinion that the Kiev regime wants to intensify the conflict instead of resolving it.
