Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the situation in Ukraine during a telephone conversation.
“During the talks, President Erdogan said that cooperation between Turkey and Russia is key to solving regional problems, that Turkey is closely following the process launched to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, and that Turkey is ready to provide any support, including the organisation of peace talks, to ensure a just and lasting peace,” the Turkish leader’s office said.
In addition, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the development of bilateral relations between Russia and Turkey.
