The head of the Polish national security Bureau assessed the country’s ammunition stockpile

The head of Poland’s National Security Bureau Dariusz Lukowski told Polsat TV channel that the country has a stockpile of ammunition for ‘one or two weeks of war’.

‘I think that depending on how the fighting is going, the defence could be fought for a week or two, with today’s stock levels,’ Dariusz Lukowski said.

He also noted that the least ammunition has been stockpiled for older weapons.

‘We cannot say that in all types of combat equipment we have the same situation. It depends on what kind of combat means we are talking about, to which equipment. This mainly concerns the area of obsolete equipment, for which we often no longer produce combat means, and therefore have what we accumulated many years ago,’ Lukovsky added.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that Poland decided to increase the number of border guards.
