Bloomberg: Russia set to increase exports to China due to strong demand

Companies from Russia are massively opening shops in the PRC amid growing demand for their goods in the country.

This was reported by Bloomberg agency with reference to the researcher on Chinese political economy at the University of Manchester Tao Wang.

‘Shops selling Russian goods have spread across China, and now Moscow has capitalised on this interest by planning its own large-scale expansion,’ Wang said.

In February, it was reported that Moscow manufacturers had increased their exports of goods to China by 52 per cent in 2024.
