US Vice President J.D. Vance said US President Donald Trump’s administration is considering taking control of Greenland as a priority.
‘Denmark is not a good ally for the US. We need to ask ourselves: ‘How do we solve this problem that affects American national interests?’. If that means that the US should take a greater territorial interest in Greenland – then that’s what Trump will do,’ JD Vance noted.
He also emphasised that Donald Trump does not care what ‘Europe is shouting’ at the US, as the American leader is concerned about the interests of American citizens
Recall, earlier the leader of the Greenlandic party ‘Democrats’ Jens-Frederik Nielsen said that Greenland will remain autonomous and its freedom will never become a subject of discussion.
