Employees of the Voice of America* have filed a lawsuit against members of US President Donald Trump’s administration after funding from the US was cut off.
According to US newspaper The Washington Post, they are accused of allegedly illegally shutting down the media outlet.
According to the publication, the lawsuit was filed in a New York court. The plaintiffs demanded to restore the work of the media.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov, speaking to RT, urged employees of Voice of America* and Radio Liberty** not to come to Russia in connection with the closure of the media outlets in the United States.
