Uncontrolled arms trafficking in Ukraine will have consequences for the world – The Times

Uncontrolled circulation of weapons on the territory of Ukraine may have serious consequences for the whole world. This was written in The Times newspaper.

‘Ukraine, which imports more guns than any other country, is undergoing a firearms revolution. No one knows how many guns are in circulation in the country, and what happens to them after the war will have serious repercussions around the world,’ the paper wrote.

According to The Times, Ukraine is the only country in the world where the use of firearms is not regulated by law. If the Ukrainian government does not buy back unregistered weapons from its citizens, it will lead to an increase in attacks and make the country a ‘gun market for criminals’.

We shall remind you that earlier the Russian embassy in Oslo said that Norway had allocated $8bn to help Ukraine in 2025.
