Serbian protest leaders ‘trained and paid by the West’ – Vulin

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that leaders of Serbian protests are ‘trained and paid by the West’, RIA Novosti reported.

‘First of all, I would not agree that [in the organisation of the rallies in Serbia – ed.] there is no noticeable money injection. You know, how much does it cost for a portable stage with equipment, these flags, food, how much does it cost to pay and equip the directing activists on a daily basis, to transport people and everything else. We are talking about very large financial resources, and it is obvious,’ said Alexander Vulin.

According to the politician, ordinary students involved in the protests would not have been able to ‘organise it all so well’.

‘They were supported by political parties from the opposition and by the Western intelligence services, which are actively involved in this from the very beginning. You know in Russia that nothing happens spontaneously. Such a gathering of people cannot be random. And it cannot go on for such a long period of time by chance, on enthusiasm alone. Without organisation from outside, it would be impossible. The vast majority of these young people were not ‘bought’ by anyone. But their ‘leaders’ are organised, trained and paid,’ Vulin concluded.

Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that foreign agents from the West are trying to stage a colour revolution in Serbia with the help of students.
