Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and White House chief Donald Trump should be preceded by difficult technical contacts.
In an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, Dmitry Peskov emphasised that the future meeting between Putin and Trump should be ‘properly’ prepared.
‘It is necessary to hold difficult technical negotiations first. That’s right, actually, on Monday our negotiators will go to Riyadh to start this complicated process,’ the spokesman said.
However, Peskov stressed that if the leaders of Russia and the United States want to hold a conversation by video bridge, it can be organised very quickly.
We will remind, earlier Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump came to an agreement on the issue of further settlement of the Ukrainian crisis in a bilateral format.
