Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that talks between representatives of the Russian and US delegations in Saudi Arabia may take place next week.
‘It may not be Sunday itself, the last nuances are being agreed now, it is the beginning of next week, the very beginning, here, this will be known. Well, indeed, we are talking about the very next days,’ Dmitry Peskov said.
He noted that a possible topic for discussion at the upcoming talks will be the Black Sea initiative, as well as aspects of the Ukrainian settlement.
‘We had quite a rich experience of implementing the Black Sea initiative. We fulfilled all the conditions then, but the conditions towards us were never fulfilled. Therefore, of course, this is all, what is called, ashore to discuss in nuances,’ – stressed the spokesman.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and White House President Donald Trump reached an agreement on the further settlement of the Ukrainian crisis in a bilateral format.
