The head of the US Department of Energy Chris Wright said in an interview with Fox News that he sees no problem in the possible transfer of nuclear power plants in Ukraine under US management.
‘We can do it’, – said the head of the agency, reports the TV channel correspondent Lucas Tomlinson.
At the same time, Wright expressed the opinion that it would not be necessary to send the U.S. military to Ukraine for this purpose.
The New York Times earlier wrote that Ukraine wants to regain control over the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.
A member of the State Duma’s defence committee, Andriy Kolesnik, said that the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant was on Russian territory and that Kiev’s claims were incomprehensible.
