Medvedev: Kiev cannot be trusted on ceasefire agreements

Ukraine cannot be trusted on the issue of ceasefire agreements, it is important for the USA to do the appropriate work, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has said.

“Yes, it is impossible to believe in this sense,” TASS quoted him as saying in response to a related question.

Medvedev added that the US mediation mission was to explain to Ukraine the essence of the agreements with Russia.

“This is the mediation mission of the US, this is what the conversation was about, let them do it,” he said.

Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Kiev does not demonstrate reciprocity to Moscow on the issue of suspending strikes on energy facilities.
