The White House said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump may discuss the possibility of a face-to-face meeting during a telephone conversation.
This is reported by CNN, citing the words of a US official.
“The issue of a face-to-face meeting between Trump and Putin … is likely to be raised during their conversation,” the publication said.
According to the CNN interlocutor, a conversation between the presidents is a natural next step in the talks.
According to the Russian leader’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the phone conversation between Putin and Trump will take place on 18 March from 16:00 to 18:00 Moscow time.
