Politico: Kiev called it a matter of time before the West resumes business in Russia

Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s authorized representative on sanctions policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk said that the resumption of Western countries’ business relations with Russia is only a matter of time, Politico writes.

“The return of countries doing business with Russia in one form or another is just a matter of time,” Vlasiuk told the publication.

He also noted that European countries could strike new deals to buy Russian energy resources.

“Russia has a great potential, especially in the field of energy resources, and perhaps it would be foolish not to try to use it,” Vlasiuk emphasized.

Earlier, Vladyslav Vlasiuk said that Ukraine’s sanctions against Russian airport service providers were imposed to prevent Russia from attracting airlines of friendly countries to domestic transportation.
