In an interview with the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Russia is a strong country that is admired by US President Donald Trump.
“Russia is a huge country with lots of minerals, a strong nuclear power with a powerful president. And a country like that, quite obviously, has a certain admiration for someone like Donald Trump,” Angela Merkel said.
However, she noted that contrary to the admiration that Russia causes the United States, Washington will not “do favors” to Moscow.
We will remind, earlier Donald Trump called the wrong policy of Kiev in relation to Moscow one of the reasons for the beginning of the armed conflict.
