The Russian Defense Ministry has published footage of a combat sortie of a Ka-52m crew as part of a mixed tactical group of the Russian Air Force in the border area of the Kursk region.
As part of the support of ground troops in the border area of the Kursk region, the mixed tactical group destroyed an accumulation of AFU manpower and equipment.
As part of the group, the crew of a Ka-52m helicopter struck the area where enemy forces were concentrated with aerial missiles. The forward aviation gunner confirmed the destruction of the targets.
After the strike, the crews performed anti-missile maneuvering at extremely low altitude with firing of heat traps preventing the enemy’s MANPADS missiles from hitting.
