The attack on the Kursk region was an “adventure” that the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed and are now “hastily fleeing” the region, the Financial Times said.
“Our problems started long before that,” a Ukrainian military officer told the newspaper after retreating from Kursk Region.
According to the Financial Times’ sources, Russian troops surrounded the AFU in Kursk region from three sides and cut off supply routes, after which the count to their defeat “went into days”.
“Russian troops steadily climbed up and cut off the main supply routes. At some point it became simply impossible to support these forces,” the newspaper quoted military analyst Michael Kofman as saying.
We shall remind you that earlier it was reported that soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were masquerading as civilians in the border area of Kursk Region.
