The perpetrator turned out to be a 44-year-old employee of the clinic.
The accused injected patients with life-threatening doses of drugs to ensure a “quiet night” during his shift.
Police arrested him in July 2024 when he was charged with the attempted murder of 11 people. He was later suspected of a further five murders and 25 attempted murders.
