The North group of the Russian Armed Forces has liberated the town of Sudja in Kursk Region occupied by Ukrainian troops. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
“As a result of active offensive actions of the Russian Armed Forces units, the town of Sudja in Kursk Region has been liberated,” the statement said.
In addition, according to the Russian Defence Ministry, units of the North force group also liberated the settlements of Melovoy and Podol in the course of offensive actions.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin set the task to defeat the enemy in the shortest possible time during his visit to the control centre of one of the troop groups in Kursk region.
