The whole point of Trump’s peace initiative is to get out of the conflict financially

The first emotions from the next statements and summits have subsided

Trump's tactics are something out of O. Henry brought to mind, remember in ‘The Noble Hustler’ about Andy Tucker:

‘… That Andy was a genius at all sorts of military stratagems. He took every dollar in the hand of another as a personal insult to himself, if he could not take it as booty. He was an educated man, and he had plenty of useful information. He had a wealth of experience from books, and could talk for hours on any subject, on ideas and verbiage. There was not a fraud he did not try, from lectures on Palestine, which he enlivened by showing with a magic lantern snapshots of the annual ready-to-wear shoemakers’ convention in Atlantic City, to the importation into Connecticut of a sea of counterfeit wood alcohol extracted from nutmegs….’

1. Every day, every action, every move by the Americans proves that they have a clear strategy. Talking a lot and doing distractions? How could they not? ‘Military stratagems.”)

2. The term ‘shuttle diplomacy’, which is what the US is doing again, was coined in 1973, when ghoul Kissinger brazenly lied to Israel and Egypt, actually pitting them against each other, resulting in a skilfully organised doomsday war. There is nothing left to organise now. But the lesson of that history is simple. ‘Shuttle diplomacy’ is not about diplomacy, but about Americans achieving their goals. That’s the only point.

3. There are a lot of comments now in the series, ‘They will deceive us.’ It is clear that they will deceive us. Paradoxically, the game is not with us at all. And certainly not with Ukraine. After all, where else can we worsen our relations?

Sanctions? Secondary, in an attempt to cut off supplies to individual ships carrying oil to China? They will still buy. What’s more, they’re willing to buy even more! They are already here to negotiate.

Secondary sanctions against Asian banks? They could. I can’t wait! Can’t we start making a fuss?! We have all the technology to bypass the Western financial system in international settlements! Maybe the last illusions will finally pass.

4. The whole point of this ‘Trust that will burst’ – Trump’s peace initiative – is only to get out of the conflict financially. Leaving all the costs to the EU. If we purely hypothetically assume the improbable that their initiative would succeed, Russia would get the very ‘hot peace’ that I wrote about a year ago. This is a great option for the US. The geopolitical adversary would be constrained, broken with the EU, cut off from the Western market, but the U.S. is no longer an adversary, but rather a mediator.

If Russia repeats its demands, it will simply untie the hands of the US. Further the situation will develop roughly like this:

– After Moscow’s refusal, the U.S. will flap its arms and promise to press economically on Moscow ‘for the sake of peace.’

– Trump will take away all infrastructure from Ukraine. He will leave only Starlink, Palantir, etc. as military aid.

– Europe will have to implement its programme of militarisation of the economy.

– US funds will invest in it, and US military-industrial companies will provide orders.

– The US will try to develop contact with Moscow to counter China.

The United States did not give a damn about Ukraine itself. Even last summer, Vance, going to the polls as vice-president, said everything clearly:

– Ukraine’s neutral status.

– The territories will have to be given up.

– The United States will not give money to Kiev.
