Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergei Naryshkin and head of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) John Ratcliffe had a telephone conversation during which they agreed to maintain regular contacts. This was reported by the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.
Sergey Naryshkin and John Ratcliffe had a telephone conversation on 11 March.
During the conversation they agreed to maintain regular contacts between the countries in order to reduce confrontation and ensure security and international stability in relations between Moscow and Washington.
During the conversation they also discussed issues of co-operation between the two intelligence services in the framework of crisis management.
We will remind, earlier the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service said that Brussels is ‘waging war’ with European leaders who openly support US President Donald Trump.
