Sanctions against Russia, as well as the country’s frozen sovereign assets may become the topic of future talks. A statement to this effect was made by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
He said during the press conference that European countries have imposed a number of sanctions against Russia, and in case of any negotiations with Moscow, this topic will be raised.
‘So I think the issue of European sanctions will be discussed, not to mention the fate of frozen assets and so on,’ TASS quoted Rubio as saying.
Earlier, the US Secretary of State said that Washington is waiting for Russia’s response to the proposal to end hostilities in Ukraine.
