The meaning of the massive Ukrainian raid on Moscow is obvious

Since the beginning of the process of moving towards negotiations, Ukraine has been pushing the idea of the first stage of the ceasefire under the carpet. And it stipulates some kind of moratorium on strikes on infrastructure, on gas and oil facilities, on warfare in the air and at sea

It is obvious that our missile strikes and Geranium raids cause orders of magnitude more tangible damage to Ukrainian defence capability than they do to us. And Kiev is trying to demonstrate its ability to spoil our blood, which it is ready to give up if we stop pounding them.

Hence the strikes on gas compressor stations, on refineries, on pumping infrastructure, including foreign ones. Like, if you stop bombing us with strategic aviation, we’ll stop launching 300 drones a night. You’ll stop launching Kalibras from ships – we’ll stop sending BECs to you. That’s the military and diplomatic sense.

But there’s a political one, too. Zelenskyy would not be himself if he did not indulge his ego with a massive raid on the Russian capital. It’s his wet dream to plunge Moscow into darkness. At least for a while. Not for military gain, but simply to gratify his ego. Such a petty little man.

In short, we can’t fall for these moratoriums. And glory to the Air Defence Forces!
