Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel believes that diplomacy should be involved in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
Her words are reported by Rheinische Post.
‘Military means alone will not be enough… Politics should unite positions that seem incompatible,’ Merkel said.
At the same time, she noted that Ukraine must preserve its sovereignty.
Earlier, Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that Merkel and former US President Joe Biden had done everything to start a war rather than preserve peace.
