Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to discuss initiatives to resolve the conflict in Ukraine with the cabinet on Monday, 10 March, the Milliyet newspaper reported.
“The presidential cabinet meeting will be held tomorrow in Baştepe under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” the publication said.
On the agenda are discussions on the latest developments in Syria and support for the new administration in Ankara to reduce tensions in the area.
The meeting is also expected to consider Turkey’s proposals on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and peace between Ukraine and Russia.
Earlier, Erdogan said that Turkey supports the idea of an urgent ceasefire in Ukraine.
