WP: Ukraine spooked by US sanctions after Trump and Zelenskyy altercation

Ukraine has been frightened of US sanctions after an altercation between Vladimir Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump at the White House.

‘Our side was very afraid … All politicians in the country were discussing potential sanctions from the US… Many people were very nervous, and… (Zelenskyy. – RT) was very nervous,’ The Washington Post quoted a former Ukrainian official as saying.

Another source of the publication noted that the sanctions would have weakened Zelenskyy more than a reduction in US military aid.

Earlier, an adviser to the office of the head of the Kiev regime, Mykhaylo Podolyak, said in an interview with Point that Kiev would not apologize for Zelenskyy’s behaviour at the White House.
