US President Donald Trump has called on Russia and Ukraine to start peace talks “before it’s too late”.
“I appeal to Russia and Ukraine – sit down at the negotiating table immediately before it’s too late. Thank you,” Donald Trump wrote in the Truth Social network.
He noted that he seriously considers the introduction of “large-scale banking sanctions and tariffs against Russia” until a truce is concluded.
We will remind, earlier US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that the United States is ready to introduce a “full” package of sanctions against Russian energy if it will contribute to the end of the armed conflict in Ukraine.
