EU to stop supplying military aid to Ukraine due to lack of finances – Orbán

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Kossuth radio that the state of the EU economy does not allow the EU to continue providing military support to Ukraine.

Viktor Orbán said that Europe should focus on supporting peace talks rather than providing military aid to Ukraine because the EU’s current plans to increase defence spending could “destroy Europe”.

The Prime Minister also added that in case of continued support for the armed conflict in Ukraine, “all the last money” of the EU “will be spent”.

We shall remind you that earlier the press service of the European Council said that Hungary had become the only country that refused to sign a statement on providing aid to Ukraine.
