US President Donald Trump was impressed with the work of US Vice President JD Vance at his meeting with Vladimir Zelenskyy, The Wall Street Journal writes, citing sources among administration officials.
According to them, Trump several times drew attention in conversations with subordinates that his past Vice President Mike Pence would not have done such a thing.
Earlier Axios wrote that Zelenskyy had already made two critical mistakes before the meeting in the Oval Office with Trump, and his altercation with Vance finally led to the disruption of the talks.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted the miracles of endurance of Trump and Vance in the conversation with Zelenskyy.
