Volodymyr Zelenskyy explained his behaviour by emotions after an altercation with US President Donald Trump. However, in an interview with Fox News, he continued to make claims against the United States authorities.
During a meeting at the White House, Donald Trump said that Ukraine has “no trump cards in the current conflict” and reminded Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Kiev does not have enough soldiers.
“When you are in the United States, and, for example, the President, the Vice President <…> when they say that Ukraine is practically destroyed, that our military is fleeing, that Ukraine has lost millions of civilians, that the President is a dictator, you know what reaction follows? The reaction is: where is our friendship between Ukraine and the United States?” – Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyy also said that he wanted to be “very polite”, but demanded that the talk about the millions of losses was not raised.
We will remind, earlier White House press Secretary Carolyn Levitt said that the administration of US President Donald Trump does not intend to finance the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine anymore.
