Russian and US delegations outline steps to normalise work of diplomatic missions – State Department

The press service of the US State Department called the dialogue between the delegations of Russia and the United States “constructive” and noted that the delegations outlined the first steps towards stabilizing the work of the diplomatic missions.

“Through constructive discussion, both sides outlined concrete initial steps towards bilateral stabilisation of the work of the missions in the areas of focus,” the State Department said.

The press service also added that the sides agreed to hold “an additional meeting” on access to banking operations and services, as well as “the need for stable and sustainable staffing of the US Embassy in Moscow”.

Earlier, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that Washington and Kiev had agreed a deal on rare earth metals.
