A federal court in the United States has ordered the administration of the President of the United States to resume aid to foreign countries within less than two weeks. This was reported by the Associated Press.
“A federal judge on Tuesday gave the [US President Donald – ed.] Trump administration less than two days to unblock billions of dollars in US foreign aid, saying the administration has shown no sign of complying with his court order to ease a funding freeze issued about a fortnight ago,” the publication wrote.
According to the Associated Press, despite the February 13 ruling, U.S. Agency for International Development officials as well as nonprofit workers say not a single payment has been made.
Recall, earlier Donald Trump with a new decree suspended all programmes of assistance to foreign countries for 90 days.
