The European Union should nominate one leader to represent European countries at the negotiations on the Ukrainian conflict, the Economist has said.
The publication said that such a politician should be able to “endure joint photo shoots” with Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Usually the interests of Europe are represented by several people, but in this case it is impossible, the publication believes.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer favourably assessed Trump’s role in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
