The UN Security Council has approved the US resolution on Ukraine

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has approved the resolution on Ukraine proposed by the USA. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

 

According to the document, the main goal of the UN “is to maintain international peace, security and peaceful settlement of disputes”.

Ten countries, including Russia, China and the USA, voted in favour of the resolution, while five countries abstained.

Earlier, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on Ukraine initiated by Kiev and European countries condemning Russia for launching the special military operation.
